  3. Wingos note that the E-Team score awaits resolution of the eligibility issue. Look at yahoo. Markkanen is only a 4. Dose E get his back-up, or a five-man roster? Those are the two options within our rules.

  4. Hawthorne go to the link Eric posted on the lineup post for this match. I clicked it and it states Markanen is a 2-4. I was not at the draft event in Portland but supposedly the positions on that link are what was being used for the draft. I can't confirm that I was down here participating by phone using ESPN so you will have to work that out among the drat attendees but the link indicates Yahoo made him a 2-4.I hope this will convince you of how questionable Yahoo positions are why I was so vehemently opposed to not using ESPN for positions

  5. Sean you say Yahoo takes away positions from last year if they don't play them this year? How do they know the situation won't revert to last year's usage in the latter half of the season?ESPN only does that adjustment the following season. I can see the confusion here was from the loss of the 2 position during the season by Markanen? Can't we use ESPN next year? They don't take positions away during a season which is disruptive for us but they add them after 10 games which is more realistic and reflects current usage

    1. I think we have had this come up before were a position was added by Yahoo! during the season to a player, but I can't remember if we allowed the change or stayed with draft designation

    2. It did come up 2-3 years ago and I recall Eric didn't want the new position added but I was for it. It's hard to take for us to take away positions since drafting is based on it but adding them I think is ok. In baseball drafting I always look for position changes that are starting each new season but haven't been added yet adding value to players like Dee Gordon moving to the OF last year

  6. Wingos aren't going to worry about this any further. I agree with Invaders about going back to ESPN. It's just fun to yank E's chain...

  7. Partials ETeam 202 Wingos 165 (assuming Butler replaces Freak who is supposedly out tomorrow) Beal vs. Kemba. Invaders 228 Swat 208 Sean needs only 21 from Mitchell...NIT Nitecaps defeat Alt/Delete 228-213....P4 171 Ticket 139 Gobert needs 33 for Tom to advance

  8. Hey, we have a final. The rookie Alt-Delete, showing youthful enthusiasm, not only submits a playoff lineup, but backs up his starters as permitted by league rules and upsets the favored Nitecaps by 213-198 to move within one match of the NIT final.

    How refreshing.

And get this. Ticket looked lost after low numbers from Capela and the douchebag Anthony Davis, not to mention a 6 from Tyreke Evans, who he can't replace because people who have passed away can't make fantasy substitutions. Meanwhile, P4, at this point a far less compelling team owner than a guy who is deceased, was projecting at around 200 after Monday's games.

And then a thunderbolt: Kyrie 17, MGas 19.

Tom now needs a 33 from Gobert, at home against the Clippers tomorrow night, to get to the NIT final.

Hope you guys are enjoying this.

  9. Oh, did Dave actually post a lineup somewhere? I didn't see it.

  10. Also, I've got Wingo at 169, not 165: Kemba 32, Tobias 44, Cousins 42, Bledsoe 17, JCollins 34.

If Giannis doesn't go tomorrow night, Butler won't save him, but the Freak is listed as probable. Kemba already went, as noted.

  12. Hey, what is with you guys? Sean, put down the scotch and soda. Mitchell hasn't played yet.

And Mark, what lineup are you using for Dave? The one that he dropped off for Match 35 has Jokic, Ben Simmons, Jrue, Randle, Mirotic and D.Smith and I've got him at 198.

Was I supposed to start drinking the morning the playoffs started? I missed the memo.

  13. I was just too busy not drinking last night or Monday Yes I missed Kemba 32 Wingos are 169 when I was working I asked for Warrior updates forgetting they were playing Charlotte. Discrepancy for Dave is Doncic Mirotic was his last posted backup Luka sat last games so inherited first team lineup carries over from Match 35 he did not post so no Mirotic but he doesn't lose Doncic who had 49 Dave advances Alt/Delete too be commended for a good rookie campaign

  14. Where did Mitchell 40 come from? Will Sean jinx him tonight??

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ah, I see. Mirotic was the backup. That's legit. Interesting.

Maybe we should consider a thing in the future where if a backup gets activated and you don't post in the following match, you get stuck with the sub. Just another way to keep owners engaged. Right? Not bagging on Dave, just spitballing. Something for the spring meeting.

Blazer go for 4-0 on the road trip in Boston tonight. Rip City.

  16. Ooops. No jinx, only positive vibes.

  17. Invaders and Swat will go one and done.

Wingo and E Team will almost certainly go one and done.

And Ticket is 4 fp's from the NIT final with a quarter to go.

  18. Ticket has won his third straight match and will play the Nitecaps for the NIT title.

    Unreal. Literally.
