Mark, Teague has missed nine games recently with a bad ankle and tweaked it Saturday night, scoring two points. He is now expected to miss "at least a game." If he misses two, that could take us to Match 28, where there's a chance Paul comes back.
I don't like the idea of Tom's team being managed by competitors when we aren't even sure we can make it any better. What if we lock in Teague and he stays out and Paul comes back?
I vote to leave it alone.
Maybe we should be more concerned about clowns that don't post backups and hand out wins to teams others are competing with for meaningful playoff position.
Ok leave Paul for the rest of the season when he comes back it's just luck good or bad for whoever plays him if Paul is healthy for the playoffs and Ticket finished 2nd he could easily become champ in absentia
New problem has emerged I just read Capela is out 4-6 weeks the rest of our season what should we do about that? Probably nothing this close to the end of the season so this makes it more likely Tom doesn't make the playoffs which will help Wingos this match and Sean and Eric in their battle for 4th
Simmons PG (E. Mudiay PG) L. Doncic SG (CJ McCollum SG) H. Barnes SF (N. Mirotic SF) J. Randle PF (M. Harrell PF) N. Jokic C (D. Green C) J. Holiday 6 (N. Bjelica 6)
This is a little different because Capela is clearly out for virtually the rest of the regular season. Not the same guessing game as with his PGs. It could also hasten Paul's return.
I believe his options are Ed Davis and Bobby Portis, who he picked up in a supplemental, although I'd have to check that he didn't drop Davis at some point. Also, Portis has been out and may be iffy for this match.
It appears that Ticket still has Ed Davis on his roster. A perfect robot add because of his modest yet predictable output and durability. It doesn't make his squad dangerous, just somewhat competitive. Remember, he's been at 184.0 without Paul and gone 3-4. He drops to four guys and he's in the low 150s with no chance of beating anybody. Davis puts him back up in the 170s. I'd vote to allow that.
One catch. We'd have to plug Davis into the current match, otherwise Wingo gets a tomato can nobody else gets a shot at.
There was no backup on his last post but he did back up AD with Ibaka a 4-5 I'mm ok with Davis or Ibaka shouldn't Wingo make a call on this subject since he's playing him?
Davis got 13 but he got 118 from Gobert and AD so far..I just think we can't impose Davis on Wingos when he already said he wanted to leave Ticket lineup as is with Paul before Capela issue.we have 3 votes already to do nothing to his lineup
Wingos-Ticket...Swat-Eteam...Invaders-Alt/Delete...P4-Nitecaps
ReplyDeleteDragic and Teague are Tom's backup pg I think Dragic is hurt right? If we locked in Teague for Paul for his team for 7 games would that work?
ReplyDeleteWingos roster for Match 26:
ReplyDelete1-Kemba (Ball)
2-Bledsoe (Butler)
3-Giannis (WChandler)
4-Tobias (JAllen)
5-DeAndre (Millsap)
U-Fox (Monk)
I might rethink this, but for now...
ReplyDeleteWestbrook 1 (Shroder)
Aldridge 4 (TThompson)
Beal 2 (Markkanen)
Nurkic 5 (Drummond)
Kuzma 3 (Ingram)
Gordon 6 (Lowry)

What was Tickets backup for Capela last match he posted a lineup?
ReplyDeleteWould that be the option?

ReplyDeleteWingo gets to decide which guy subs or whether we sub at all?
ReplyDeleteAnd it doesn't matter who's playing Ticket right now. We would lock in a lineup for seven matches.
Hey. Remember, we don't have to do anything. What's most important is that there is a level playing field for his opponents.
